März 1956. Was war, nachdem dieses Datum noch unbekannt ist aber an einem Teil in der Nähe vom Ende ihres Lebens wir wissen, dass das Schiff verwendet wurde, um Vieh zu transportieren, und durch ein syrisches Schifffahrtsunternehmen besessen wurde.&lt;br /&gt;Was für uns interessanter ist, ist die Geschichte später. Das Schiff wurde 2004 stillgelegt und verkauft an eine Gesellschaft, die zu demontieren ist und als Stück-Metall werden wiederverwendet. Während das Schiff auf dem Schleppen für ihre Endreise zu Aliağa war, wurde sie in einem wilden Sturm gefangen.&lt;br /&gt;Das Schleppkabel wurde geschnappt, und das Schiff sank anmutig in ihrer Endruhestätte, die nicht weit vom Dalyanköy Marina in Çeşme / İzmir ist. Glücklicherweise geschah dieser unglückliche Moment an einer Tiefe von 18 mt, die auf ein vollkommenes Wrack, die 75 mt. lange, 11 mt. breite Ruhe ein bisschen geneigt zu ihrer Hafen-Seite auf einem sandigen Boden hinausliefen.&lt;br /&gt;Seit fast 3 Jahren ist gegangen seit diesem Tag ist das Monem-Wrack jetzt das gemütliche Haus für Brachsen, Skorpion-Fisch, viele Bonitos, Köder-Fisches, flusskraebsen, morays, blennies und noch viele, dass wir scheitern, hier zu erwähnen. Da sich das Wrack an einer maximalen Tiefe von 18mt ausruht, ist das sowohl für offene Wassertaucher als auch für Taucher mit dem höheren Zertifikat passend. Geminin bundan sonraki maceraları tam olarak bilinmemekle birlikte, ömrünün son zamanlarında Suriye bandıralı olduğu ve Monem adını aldığı, canlı hayvan nakletmekte kullanıldığını biliyoruz. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;Bizi ilgilendiren daha sonraki son macerası ise 2004 yılının kasım ayında başlıyor. Parçalanmak üzere Aliağa ya çekilmekte olan Monem, fırtına sebebiyle çekme halatının kopması sonucunda Çeşme açıklarında batıyor. Battığı derinlik yaklaşık 18 metre, ve böylece ülkemiz sularındaki en keyifli batık dalışlarından birini yapma imkanını biz sualtı severlere sunuyor. 2004 yılından bu yana geçen sürede karagöz, akya sürüleri, sinarit, lipsoz gibi balıklara ev sahipliği yapmakla kalmayıp her sezon uygun havalarda her bröve seviyesinden yüzlerce dalgıca konukseverliğini sunuyor. Standart bir dalış parkuru olarak dalış teknesinin burnuna bağlı olan klavuz ipten geminin burnuna ve oradan da zemine inilir ve 17–18 metreden gemi boyunca ilerlenir. Geminin boyu 75 metre olduğundan Türkiye’de dalış yapılabilen en büyük batıktır. Geminin kıç bölümüne gelindiğinde pervane ve dümen palasının yanından geçilir. Kıç güverte boyunca yükselerek lumboz deliklerinden kamaraların içlerine bakılır. Güvertenin bir kat üzerinde ise 20 dalgıcın aynı anda bulunabildiği geniş bir alan vardır. Buradan yukarıya çıkan merdivenler takip edilerek kaptan köşküne ulaşılır. 2 kapısı bulunan Kaptan köşküne bir kapıdan girip diğerinden sırayla çıkılır. Ardından ön güverte ambarlar üzerinden 8-9 metrelerden gemi boydan boya geçilir. Mizana direklerinden sonra 5 metredeki hava bacaları üzeride veya pruva üzerinde emniyet duraklaması yapılarak klavuz ipten tekneye dönülür. Tabii geminin metal olduğunu unutmayıp hiçbir yere temas etmemekte ve kapalı alanlara girmemekte fayda vardır.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;Sualtı fotoğrafçıları ve video çekenler için her zaman mükemmel kompozisyonlar sunan bu batık her geçen yıl artan canlı sayısı ve değişen görüntüsü ile muhteşem bir dalış noktasıdır. The vessel was decommissioned in 2004 and sold to a company to be dismantled and recycled as scrap metal. While the vessel was on tow for her final voyage to Aliağa , she was caught in a fierce storm. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;The towing cable got snapped and the vessel gracefully sank in her final resting place which is not far from the Dalyanköy marina in Çeşme / İzmir. Luckily this unfortunate moment happened at a depth of 60 feet which resulted in a perfect wreck, 230 feet long, 33 feet wide resting slightly inclined to her port side on a sandy bottom.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;Since almost 3 years has passed since that day, the monem wreck now is the cosy home for banded breams, scorpion fish, schoals of jacks, bait fish, spiny lobsters, morays, blennies and many more that we fail to mention here.
